Danish Agency for Libraries and Media is Registration Authority for ISO 15511 Information and documentation - International Standard Identifier for Libraries and Related Organizations (ISIL).

The purpose of ISIL is to define and promote the use of a set of standard identifiers for the unique identification of libraries and related organizations with a minimum impact on already existing systems.

A national or institutional agency assigns the specific identifier for a library or an organization. Libraries and organizations have to contact their national agency to get an ISIL standard identifier.
